Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley II Not Yet Final, Says Bob Arum
Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum denied earlier reports that the rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley was sealed, but the world-renowned promoter is optimistic that all details will be finalized soon.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Arum said that they are still negotiating about the details of the fight, which could take place on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas if both parties come to terms.

"We are working on the details. We are trying to finalize the fight," Arum said in an interview. "Are we talking to Bradley? Yes. Is the fight done yet? No. Will it get done? Probably. That's all I can say."
Arum revealed that Bradley is now their lone option for the Filipino boxing icon's next fight, but the promoter revealed that they could still consider other opponents if they fail to iron out the details of the Pacquiao-Bradley rematch soon.
"Right now, we are only considering Bradley. It doesn't mean we won't consider others, but right now, we are considering Bradley. To make a Bradley fight with Manny, we are negotiating with both fighters," Arum said.
In a separate interview, Arum sounded like he is almost sure that the second showdown between the two boxing superstars will be sealed, and that the Top Rank chief is just being cautious in talking about the rematch, knowing that negotiations may still collapse anytime.
"I've been involved in this business for so long that I know until everything is agreed to, then there's no fight," Arum said in an interview with RingTV. "If it ends up blowing in our face, and he ends up fighting Ruslan Provodnikov, then you look like a horse's ass."
Aside from Bradley, Ruslan Provodnikov is also in the mix for Pacquiao's next fight, but the fight against the undefeated Bradley looks more appealing to fight fans due to the bad history between the two fighters.
Bradley scored a controversial split-decision victory over Pacquiao in their WBO welterweight title showdown in June 2012. Since then, Pacquiao has been aching to prove that he is a better fighter than the 30-year-old Bradley, and he can only do so if a rematch is set up soon.
