NFL Players Ignoring TV Azteca's Ines Sainz Trending on Social Media Sites: Latinos Furious?
TV Azteca's sports journalist Ines Sainz was ignored after the Super Bowl 50 by players of the Denver Broncos.
Despite being a known name in the media industry in Latin America, Terra said Sainz was still brushed off by players when she tried to interview them after the game.
It was observed that the charm and beauty of the female reporter did not seem to work on the NFL players this time.
According to Zocalo, Sainz attempted to talk to Broncos star Peyton Manning, but he did not pay attention to her. Lionel Messi did the same thing last year.
The same report claimed that the TV Azteca reporter was ridiculed on social media after videos (like the one seen below) circulated on the Internet.
"I'm like Inés Sainz in love, nobody listens to me," one Twitter user was quoted by Zocalo as saying.
Meanwhile, StarMedia noted that the host was actually trying to ask the players how they felt about winning the Super Bowl.
It claimed that it was a good thing that she was still able to interview popular figures like Aqib Talib, Gary Kubiak and John Elway.
El Grafico explained that Sainz has been a well-known personality in the Super Bowl in previous years. It noted that she has earned praise not only from fans but also from other international reporters covering the yearly event.
In 2011, the female reporter captivated the audience when she appeared in a beautiful silver dress when she interviewed Ben Roethlisberger and Rashard Mendenhall.
In the year that followed, she also made a mark because she repeatedly said the word "feat" during the match of the New York Giants and the New England Patriots for the Super Bowl 46.
Two years ago, El Grafico claimed that Sainz also covered when the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos came face to face.
A similar Heavy report noted that the 37-year-old TV personality is not just a pretty face since she has also accomplished a lot in life and in her career.
It detailed that she has acquired a degree in tax law, got a black belt in taekwondo and has interviewed famous personalities in the sports industry like Tom Brady and Lionel Messi.
Heavy claimed that she once earned the tag "The Queen of Super Bowl Media Day" and has been covering the annual sporting event since 2002. It added that each year that she returns to the field to cover the Super Bowl, she gets more and more famous.
