Jennifer Lopez is one Hollywood actress who is adored for her good looks and beautiful body. In fact, the 46-year-old star seems ageless, and able to maintain her grace and glow in spite of the demands of her work.
Since every girl wishes to be like J. Lo, her celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson has revealed the mother-of-two's secrets, including her diet. "I have her eating very clean because she needs really good fuel for all the things that she's doing," the 40-year-old trainer told People, as published by Latin Times.
"It's all organic and it's all very well thought out, with the balance of very high-quality proteins and a lot of nutrient-dense food." She also advised the actress to avoid "processed foods," and if that can't be ignored, she asked her to have them in moderation.
The fitness and wellness entrepreneur always give the "American Idol" judge fresh foods and drinks, including the addition of protein powder in her shakes, which she has has once a day.
Anderson unveiled that Lopez is a very well balanced person -- she still celebrates and indulges on Thanksgiving and holidays, especially with her children. Hence, Anderson gives her a workout to balance it out. This needs to be consistently done - which is also a result of not giving her "extreme dieting."
Meanwhile, on the Jan. 18 issue of US Weekly's magazine, "The Boy Next Door" star herself spilled her exact diet, Hollywood Life reported. She disclosed that she's drinking chocolate Body Lab Shake for breakfast.
She uses quinoa milk or water in the drink, but she also said that she drinks coffee, but it has to be decaf. Her lunch is composed of salmon and vegetable salad but, she also loves broccoli, peppers and zucchini with added vinaigrette on top.
Skin wise, Lopez uses a lot of sunscreen whenever she's out under the sun. She does not smoke or drink, and even avoids caffeine to maintain her youthful glow. "That really wrecks your skin as you get older," she said.
The "Booty" singer loves a good night sleep of nine to 10 hours if time permits. If not, she said that seven or eight hours are mandatory.
As per exercise, Lope prefers to do it in the morning, three or four times a week. In fact, she's working out with her celebrity trainers David Kirsch and Anderson, and they do "planks, pushups, boxing" and "a bit of everything."
