Pokémon News Update: 'Pokémon HeartGold' and 'Pokémon SoulSilver' Super Music Collection Soundtrack Finally Released, 270 Songs for $10
The Pokémon Company International have finally released the soundtrack based on the franchise's second-generation.
"Pokémon HeartGold" and "Pokémon SoulSilver" were released in 2010, and although the games were released as part of the fourth generation with "Pokémon Diamond Version, "Pokémon Pearl Version," and "Pokémon Platinum Version," the 2010 games were remakes of the 1999 games "Pokémon Gold Version" and "Pokémon Silver Version.
The Pokémon Company International released the soundtrack of the 2010 remakes composed by Junichi Masuda, GÅ Ichinose, and Morikazu Aoki.
Titled "Pokémon HeartGold & Pokémon SoulSilver: Super Music Collection," the soundtrack features 270 songs from the title screen music, New Bark Town, wild Pokemon battle, Pokemon Center, trainer battle, Ruins of Alph, gym leader battle, Team Rocket's headquarters, and the Champion battle themes, to name a few.
For nostalgia fans, the album features songs ripped from the original 1999 games including the aforementioned themes and more from the Johto and Kanto regions.
For the 270 songs, the "Pokémon HeartGold & Pokémon SoulSilver: Super Music Collection" album can be purchased for $9.99.
The soundtrack comes a little over a month after the soundtrack for "Pokémon FireRed Version" and "Pokémon LeafGreen Version" was made available in early December for $11.99.
The Pokémon Company International has confirmed music from "Pokémon Ruby" and "Pokémon Sapphire," "Pokémon Diamond," and Pokémon Pearl," Pokémon Black," and "Pokémon White," "Pokémon Black 2," and "Pokémon White 2."
