'The Big Bang Theory' Season 7 Spoilers: 'Star Wars' Actors James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher to Make Guest Appearance
It was recently announced that "The Big Bang Theory" will add two major Hollywood stars to their list of celebrities who have made guest appearances on the show.
According to TV Line, "Star Wars" stars James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher will both make an appearance on the popular comedy series playing themselves.
Fisher portrayed Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" films, while Jones is noted for being the voice of Darth Vader. The show's executive producers Bill Prady and Steve Molaro broke the news about the "Star Wars" actors Sunday at the Golden Globes red carpet, also confirming that both actors will also cross paths with Sheldon.
And for fans hoping that Raj's one-time love interest Lucy will make a return, TV Line's Ausiello revealed that there are no reported plans to bring her back. However, that doesn't mean that Raj will remain loveless and loney. The show is casting the potentially recurring role of Yvette, an attractive veterinarian who ends up caring of Raj's dog Cinnamon.
Furthermore, comedian and actor Brian Posehn will reprise his role as Raj's friend Burt in the upcoming episode this Thursday. "Amy realizes that Burt has a crush on her," teased Molaro. "And [Howard and Raj] help her navigate that."
"The Big Bang Theory," television's highest rated and most watched comedy, scored the largest audience ever for a regularly scheduled episode last Thursday with 20.08 million viewers, reports ComicBook.com. In the episode, "The Occupation Recalibration" Leonard and Penny discussed the status of their relationship.
"The Big Bang Theory," airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
