Selena Gomez Gets Creepy In 'Hand to Myself' Music Video?
Selena Gomez recently launched the racy music video of her song, "Hands to Myself," as part of her latest album, "Revival." The 23-year-old star was teasing everyone as she donned a piece of lingerie while dancing provocatively.
According to Rolling Stone, the sultry music clip was directed by the Armenian-American film and commercial director, Alek Keshishian, who is best known for his 1991 film, "Madonna: Truth or Dare," which was the highest-grossing documentary of all time that year.
The songwriter plays the role of an obsessive, former lover of an actor, where she is seen visting his house without his knowledge. When she's finally in, she then removes her black robe to reveal her enviable figure, wearing only a pair of dark Giorgio Armani innerwear.
Gomez is seen roaming around his room and lying in his bed while touching herself. She then ravages his closet and puts on his white polo shirt, seducing the viewers by dancing in front of a mirror.
Later, the ex-lover, played by real-life model Christopher Mason, comes in and feels something unusual going on in his abode. The Police come and find Gomez lying in his bed while wearing his shirt. They cuff her, only to reveal the major twist.
The camera zooms out from the television, unveiling the fact that everything that just happened was only part of a show. Gomez is then seen snuggling in the arms of Mason, while they watch themselves.
Meanwhile, the fashion designer tells Mason, "Sorry for snooping, Chris" on her Twitter page, just in time for the release of her music video. Additionally, Gomez told Time how she came up with the idea of writing "Hands to Myself."
"When 'Hands To Myself' started, we were just like, 'What are girls not doing? I want to know what girls aren't doing,'" Gomez told the publication's reporter, Nolan Feeney, in September.
"I feel like I tackled the love, I tackled the emotion and the heart and how I view the world, but what's going to be super fresh? We had a cup and Julia [Michaels] was banging the cup onto the desk. Then she had this Prince-y hook and was like, 'What if we make it Prince-like?' I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm obsessed. Let's do that.' Within 24 hours, that's where "Hands To Myself" came from. It's probably the best song on the album. A beautiful accident," Gomez added.
