Nokia Lumia 1520 Price, Specs Update: 32GB Lumia 1520 Model Coming This Week for AT&T, Says Report [Video]
The Nokia Lumia 1520 may be available in a larger internal storage model in the United States, according to new reports.
The Lumia 1520, in the U.S., has been mainly available for purchase with an 16GB internal storage model with mobile carrier AT&T. The Lumia 1520, however, may soon be available with a 32GB variant starting Jan. 10.
WPCentral noted the Lumia 1520 Windows Phone 8 smartphone's 32GB variant would be available via "Direct Fulfillment," which means the consumer can purchase the device only online and not in stores.
"It's been known for a while that the 32GB version of the Lumia 1520 would be heading to AT&T in due course, and we're sure consumers who are after more internal storage than what's currently available will be pleased to see such a launch," reported WPCentral's Rich Edmonds.
Although AT&T has yet to confirm the report, the Lumia 1520, even with the 16GB model, supports a microSD card slot for an additional 64GB of memory
On AT&T's official website, the mobile carrier has the Lumia 1520 for $199.99 when the consumer signs a two-year contract with the mobile carrier.
At the online Microsoft Store, the no-contract price for the Lumia 1520 smartphone is $549. According to the online Microsoft Store, the Lumia 1520 can be purchased for $99 when signing a two-year contract with AT&T if the device is bought from a physical Microsoft Store.
The Lumia 1520 features a screen size of 6 inches with 1,920x1,080 resolution. The camera specifications for the device include a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1520 has 2GB of RAM and offers a microSD card slot for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Lumia 1520 stands at 3,400mAh, which offers up to 25.1 hours for talk time in a 3G network, and approximately 780 hours on standby.
