'Kingdom Hearts III' Trailer Out Today!
The recently-released "Kingdom Hearts III" trailer showed what players can expect with the gameplay.
Shown on a video below, the new trailer was released by video game developer Square Enix. It covered not only the upcoming game but also the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8" Final Chapter Prologue.
According to Gamespot, the release of the trailer also coincided with the Jump Festa event in Japan which featured the upcoming releases of "Kingdom Hearts."
Kotaku added the trailer did not feature "anything groundbreaking" though it mentioned that the footage showed a clip of "Kingdom Hearts III" at the 3:38 timestamp.
It was also mentioned in the trailer's page that the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" comes with the remastered "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance," "Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ [chi]" cinematics and a new chapter in the game.
However, Game Rant mentioned that the trailer did not offer any new information about the two games.
"[The] new trailer is, in fact, nearly identical to the one shown at the D23 Disney fan event. After a healthy introduction, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 footage makes up the majority of the 5-minute trailer," the same report mentioned.
It noted that the D23 event revealed new combat and ride attacks in the game. Game Rant also mentioned that a new "shotlock" feature will also be added from Birth to Sleep. This is believed to enable players to target their enemies "by aiming with a target reticule on-screen and then pressing a button, so the player can jump from enemy to enemy."
The upcoming action role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts 3" will become available for the PS4 and Xbox One, though there is still no definite game on its release.
When it becomes available, Game Informer said that, aside from "Tangled," "Big Hero 6" will also be featured as a world in the game.
"Sora and pals will interact with the Big Hero 6 team after the events of the film, and Baymax will be there, too," the same report added.
Aside from this, "Hercules" is also expected to be part of the game. However, Game Informer noted that the inclusion was not explicitly stated by either the game developer of Disney. But, it claimed that Hercules' adventure on ancient Greece might possibly get featured in the gamer.
Meanwhile, Master Herald earlier noted that there will be returning characters in the game which was originally released way back in 2002.
It added that the characters come from the studios of Disney and Square Enix.
