Azealia Banks Arrested For Biting Female Security Guard On the Breast

Rapper Azealia Banks is often in the news -- not for her music, but for her behavior. This time is no different, as there have been reports of Banks getting arrested in New York for assaulting a female security guard, said the International Business Times.

Just a little over a month after she became subject to criminal investigation involving another fight with a security guard at a Los Angeles night club, the rapper is facing more troubles of the same sort when reports surfaced on Wednesday claiming that she was involved in a physical altercation with a female security guard outside of New York's Up&Down nightclub.

E! News said that the 24-year-old was removed from the club at around 12:46 in the morning, as she had been combative with the club's bouncers, before she proceeded to verbally assault the guard. While Banks is not exactly the best at behavior, what got her riled up with the bouncers was that she came to a party, uninvited, but came with an invited guest. When she tried to go to the party, security turned her away and told her to get a stamp to enter, which made her upset. She was offended that security did not recognize her as a celebrity, resulting in the said altercation.

She was said to have been escorted out by the guard, who she then assaulted. Banks reportedly "began to push the victim" before she bit her on the breast, causing "swelling and redness" to the area, although other than that, the guard seems to be okay. Banks was reported to be taken into police custody, and has been "charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment."

It is not just clubs where Banks finds herself in trouble, either. People Magazine mentioned that in September, she was also called on by the police when she got involved in a verbal dispute with a French couple in a Delta Airline flight after the plane landed. The police were called to the scene, although the couple she fought with decided not to press charges.

Banks has so far been silent about her latest arrest. Her Twitter account, where she shares most of her controversial opinions, has not been updated since Tuesday. Her rep also declined to comment.
