Olivia Munn Slams Media for Blaming Her for Aaron Rodgers' Losing Streak

"X-Men: Apocalypse" star Olivia Munn slammed a reporter who tagged her as an off-court distraction for boyfriend and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

ESPN reporter Rob Demovsky, in an article for the website, analysed the three consecutive losses of the Packers and Rodgers performance. He noted that there could be something going on in his personal life that could be affecting his game.

"A longtime NFL agent told me recently that when he sees one of his top-performing clients play differently, as Rodgers has of late, the first thing he wonders is if something is going on in his personal life," Demovsky said.

Demovsky, however noted that he has not heard of any status change between the quarterback and actress since they were recently spotted at Lambeau Field.

"Sometimes it's easy to forget that professional athletes have lives away from the field, and you never know what could be going on in their personal lives," the ESPN writer added.

Munn was quick to address the report as she replied to the writer's post on Twitter.

"Playing it fast & loose w/the journalism @RobDemovsky. Your professional skills are lacking... you must be having personal problems at home," Munn tweeted.

She also clarified on her Twitter account that she is not calling out trolls commenting on the article but the journalists responsible for writing these.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the "Newsroom" star was also furious at other news outlets who picked up a Packers fan comment on the Internet. Apparently the fan also put the blame on Munn for her beau's struggles in the NFL.

Dear, @WashingtonPost @FoxSports and the other news outlets that followed suit. The "fan" you based entire articles around is a bigot and a racist. Of course he hates me. He also hates black people and Muslims. That's like asking the KKK to give a review of "Straight Outta Compton," she added tweeting the link of the user's "hate-filled" comments.

US Magazine said that the couple seem to be "perfectly content" with their lives with no indications that trouble in paradise might be causing problems for Rodgers.

The two have been dating since May last year and Rodgers said he is really happy with how the relationship is going.

"I understand what comes with it. The last couple years I've learned a lot about perspective and what's important. And, that you cannot, when you've had success individually and collectively as a team and you are highlighted for the things you've done on the field and off the field, you cannot hide from the spotlight. You have to learn to embrace it," the Packers quarterback said in an earlier ABC News report.
