'The Flash'- 'Arrow' Crossover News: Barry Allen To Visit His Old Friend Oliver Queen Once Again?
DC fans are in for a treat as a new crossover event between The CW's "Arrow" and "The Flash" with a memorable tagline "Heroes Join Forces."
Cinema Blend was impressed with the upcoming crossover episode teased in the ending scenes of the recent episode of "The Flash."
"That was basically everything I wanted out of a crossover episode preview," the report read.
According to "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, the exciting new crossover between the two famous TV shows would see Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash with Oliver Queen a.k.a. The Green Arrow and his team of DC superheroes in a battle happening in the Star City and the Central City.
Joining them are what Cinema Blend dubbed as the "Hawk heroes" from "Legends of Tomorrow" comprised of Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) whose superhero suit was just recently revealed, according to a previous report from the outlet.
Of course, excitement would not die down now especially after Amell revealed to IGN some story-related information that may contain spoilers for the upcoming crossover episode.
"Well, Barry actually encounters this situation where he wants to go to Oliver and Team Arrow for help, and that's our tipping point. The fight takes us from Central City to Star City to Central City to a farmhouse..." the 34-year-old actor explained.
Amell also revealed that the upcoming episode is proof that showrunner Greg Berlanti is a fan of television after he an event out of it.
"It does feel like an event, as a fan of television. And that's how you can tell; Greg Berlanti is a fan of television, which is why he's so prolific at it," Amell told IGN.
He further described the episode as something that is produced neither as an episode for "The Flash" nor "Arrow" because "it feels like both."
"One of [Berlanti's] favorite things growing up, as he has said in interviews, was to see multiple heroes and villains from his favorite shows show up on his other favorite shows. So we've done a really good job of creating something," he added.
According to Cinema Blend, the 30-second clip reveals several scenes that probably is added there to introduce the spinoff "Legends of Tomorrow" that would begin airing next year.
It also featured a scene where "The Flash" baddie Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) shows his knife-throwing skills as well as complete look at Kendra Saunders' entire wingspan when she is suited up for flight as "Hawkgirl."
