'Halo 5 Guardians' Guide: Best Strategies for the Multiplayer Arena
The "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer game is tagged to be one of the best games now but newbies playing it ares still sometimes clueless on how they can survive it.
New Media Rockstars said gamers should learn the new controls of the game.
"While Halo 3 and Reach added new equipment and boosters for flight, Halo 5 throws in a new groundpound move, the ability to use thrusters to boost in any direction while on the ground, sliding, charging, and infinite sprint," added the same report.
It added that these new moves are really powerful and useful for the players.
On the other hand, Trusted Reviews advised players to study the maps of the game since these are complex ones.
"These are balanced by numerous routes around the map and weak points for those high positions, but if you spend too much time wandering aimlessly around the open areas you'll be dead in seconds," noted Trusted Reviews.
For a better strategy, players should also work together as a team against their enemies. This, according to the same report, will surely help gamers emerge as the winner.
In addition, New Media Rockstars mentioned that it is not really necessary to go for power weapons like sniper rifles and rocket launchers.
The same report noted that players should familiarize themselves with the weapons especially with how they should be used.
"If you're up against an experienced player, you might be in trouble, but a lot of times, you'll be just fine with your default weapons. Going after power weapons will just expose you," said New Media Rockstars.
Meanwhile, Halo Way Point said the motion tracker in the game features a 30-meter range during the beta stage. However, it noted that this addition has evolved into "a combat tracker that promotes engagement."
"If someone shows up on your radar, they are REALLY close and a fight is about to go down. This is something that we feel is in line with our equal starts philosophy where everyone at all skill levels and competition will be playing the same game," added the same report.
Despite the challenge it poses to the game, the multiplayer mode of "Halo 5: Guardians" is considered to be one of its strengths.
The said game became available exclusively on the Xbox One with game developer 343 Industries making a technology to track gaming behaviors such as quitting matches, excessive disconnects, idling, betrayals or team killing and intentional suicides, as per Gamespot.
343 Industries noted that this move was a way "to maintain the quality of the Arena experience and sanctity of competition, a number of rules are in place for all Arena playlists."
