Consumers might get the next generation MacBook before 2015 ends. Should rumors circulating online are to be believed, the MacBook Pro will be released by December 2015.
In addition to the rumored early release of the MacBook Pro, Apple fans can get some great deals on the early 2015 13-inch MacBook Pro. According to Apple Insider, consumers can get as much as $500 off the MacBook Pro offerings in the next 96 hours from Apple's authorized reseller B&H Photo Video retail store. This is already the retailer's lowest pricing for Apple's early-2015 13" MacBook Pro (2.7GHz, 8GB, 256GB) model MF840LL/A at just $1,349.00, which is offered at a $150 discount.
The report with Apple Insider also added that B&H Photo Video Retail Store does not charge sales tax on orders that are shipped outside New York. Shipping for the MacBook Pro is also free. Consumers can also save almost $280 on this 13-inch MacBook Pro as opposed to making a MacBook Pro purchase at an Apple retail store. Additionally, B&H is also offering the MacBook Pro model MF839LL/A which has half the storage (128GB) for just $1,179 at a $120 discount.
Christian Today reported that the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro can be purchased with $500 slashed off the original price. This means that the device can now be purchased at $1,899. In addition to the deals that consumers can get at B&H Photo Video Retail Store, Best Buy also offers a $100 gift card for every MacBook Air purchase while Adorama also has a special gift for Apple Insider readers where they "can take advantage of a pair of exclusive deals that deliver a free Apple SuperDrive and 50% off AppleCare with Apple's early-2015 13 MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs. Plus free shipping and no sales tax in 48 states."
With the massive iPad Pro being just released, it appears that releasing yet another Apple product by the end of the year would not be the most business savvy thing to do. Releasing another MacBook Pro might jeopardize the sales of the iPad Pro, so it might not be likely that a MacBook Pro release will be happening late this year. The iPad Pro has already been heavily marketed since its unveiling in September, many touting the massive tablet to be a "laptop killer". Apple analysts have predicted that the Apple MacBook Pro might be released sometime in early 2016.
Apple, Inc. has not made any official announcements on the latest MacBook Pro's release date. Expect additional updates of the MacBook Pro 2016 soon.
