It was first announced that "The Hunger Games" themed park will be built at Dubai in will open in 2016. Now, Lionsgate Entertainment Company recently confirmed that the adventure series will also be brought to life in Atlanta.

The corporation said on Monday that the novel series has already been licensed for development. It will be located in Bartow County, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

"We are proud to introduce AVATRON Park to the great state of Georgia and American audiences everywhere," Avatron's vice chairman, Ram said. "We are pushing the thresholds of location-based entertainment storytelling like never before, thanks, in part, to our unique combination of experienced creative leadership and technology integration expertise. We look forward to sharing this game changing experience with future guests."

"It speaks to the ability of management to skillfully leverage their intellectual property to other growth avenues," Amy Young, an analyst at Macquarie Securities, told about the project. NYT cited, Ram said that financing efforts for the new theme park are still "really far along," but they are expecting that it will conclude by the end of the year.

However, designs for the upcoming rides are already in the early stage of planning and Ram didn't mind the rough story the movie's storyline has. "There are so many positives about these movies, starting with the fact that she's an empowered young woman," he said.

FOX 5 added that the park will also feature other Lionsgate productions, like "Step Up" and "Now You See Me." "The innovative storytelling platforms we offer provide different ways and dimensions for fans of all three franchises to continue and extend their personal engagement," Ram said.

Meanwhile, while "The Hunger Games" Atlanta will take a quite time to build, the Motiongate Dubai Park is already on the works and will soon open a year from now. They build District 12, the place where Katniss grew up and a real-life Peeta's bakery, Buzz Feed noted.

Too, costumed characters will be included and the District 12' black market "Hob" will be featured. The lavish Capitol-esque roller coaster inspired by the fancy high-speed train from the film will be brought to life and there's a simulator ride that will let the fans and guests of "The Hunger Games" experience a hovercraft tour of Panem.
