Lucky Charms Marshmallows Only Box Now Available!
Whether you're a kid or an adult, if you love Lucky Charms cereal, you will have to admit that no matter how much you love them, the marshmallows are the best part of them.
If you ever dreamed of an all-mallow box of Lucky Charms, well, it looks like people at General Mills heard your prayer because according to their official blog, they are releasing limited edition marshmallow-only boxes for their fans, who sent them "countless calls, emails, tweets and Facebook posts".
Unfortunately, their definition of "limited edition" is really limited, as only 10 boxes of all-marshmallow charms are available for the public --- and General Mills is making it a sweepstakes contest.
On a side note, lucky Kylie Jenner got her own box of marshmallow charms last February, and she didn't have to compete with millions of people for it. She even posted a photo of her customised box of Lucky Charms, captioned, "Ahhhh!! Thank you thank you Lucky Charms for my one of a kind 'only marshmallows' box! This made my day!!!! Been dreaming of this for too long."
And it looks like more people (well, ten more) can enjoy the sweet goodness that Kylie experienced months ago. (Other custom marshmallow only boxes were also previously sent to Blake Shelton and Jessie Pitts, who were fans of the cereal and mentioned it on reality show, "The Voice".)
According to People, to get the "unicorn cereal of the world", fans should post selfies of themselves holding an imaginary box of Lucky Charms, with the hashtag #Lucky10Sweepstakes on Twitter or Instagram. Of course, it may look a bit weird on your social media page to for people who are not into it (although let's face it, who won't be?)
Why the contest? Amanda Hill, Associate Marketing Manager for Lucky Charms said, "Lucky Charms is one of the most Instagrammed cereals and these platforms are the right place to ignite and connect to the passion we hear about."
"We wanted to have a little fun and connect with our fans. It needed to be easy and accessible for everyone to have a chance to win and celebrate what makes us, us - the marshmallows," she went on.
Well, that looks like fun. The full rules for the sweepstakes is announced by Biz Markie via a rap song, which you can check out below. Are you going to bet on your luck to get your own marshmallow-only box of Lucky Charms?
