Nokia has lived up to its projected release date for the Nokia Lumia 1320. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone has commenced sales in China.

Right after Christmas Day, the Lumia 1320 went on sale in China with other Asian markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan set to follow in "the coming weeks," as Nokia Conversations noted.

The Lumia 1320 was first announced in October when Nokia confirmed the device would have a suggested retail price of $339 before subsidies and taxes. It is unknown how much the device costs in China.

According to Neowin, the estimated price for the no-contract Lumia 1320 in China is ¥2,499, or approximately $412 when converted to the U.S. dollar.

Nokia has not set a U.S. release date for the Lumia 1320.

The Lumia 1320 features a 6-inch 720p display with 1,280x720 pixels. With the 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 by Qualcomm, the Lumia 1320 utilizes the latest updates from Windows Phone 8.

The Lumia 1320 will only be available in a 8GB internal storage model with 1GB of RAM. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone is equipped with a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of storage and 7GB SkyDrive cloud memory.

The photography specifications include a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1080p video at 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera has 0.3 megapixels for photography.

The Lumia 1320 has 3,400mAh battery capacity, which supports up to 21 hours for talk time in a 3G network and approximately 675 hours on standby.
