Kordell Stewart, Former NFL Star, Denies Dating Gay Internet Star, Says 'It's not What I Believe In'
Former NFL star Kordell Stewart denied that he dated gay Internet sensation Andrew Caldwell despite the claim of the latter that they were in a "secret relationship."
TMZ noted that the athlete has strongly opposed Cadlwell's claim even calling him "delusional."
"I don't know the guy. I've never heard of him. There's no room in my personality for that lifestyle. It's not what I believe in. I'm a heterosexual man," Stewart told TMZ.
He also blamed Caldwell for "defaming" him but has not revealed any plans of suing the the Internet star.
It was earlier reported that Caldwell admitted on a radio show that he and Stewart were an item, adding that the former NFL player even gifted him with expensive cars.
Caldwell rose to fame last year when he posted a YouTube video where he declared that he had been healed from homosexuality.
"I'm not gay no more. I am delivered. I don't like mens no more. I like women," he was heard shouting on the video that became viral online.
In a recent interview with The Shakeup Show, Caldwell shared that he slept with the ex-husband of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams.
"I dated Kordell," Caldwell said adding that he was aware the NFL star was married.
He also clarified that he only slept with him once.
"I had everything that Porsha got... I had bags, purses, cars. I'm in a Jaguar right now. Honey, did you see that Jaguar over there?" Caldwell noted.
But he was not yet finished with his explosive revelations, adding that he also dated other professional football players aside from Stewart.
"I was like, 'Mmm... I like football players... I dated other football players too, I dated some of the Rams," he added.
On his Twitter account, Stewart said he will not answer allegations of this kind. "Y'all should know me by now I don't respond to foolery and dumb shit...," he tweeted.
Rolling Out said this is not the first time that the former NFL player got involved in rumors claiming he is gay.
"Williams even insinuated after their divorce that she suspected during their marriage that Stewart may be attracted to men," added the same report.
According to Daily Mail, Stewart denied all these rumors in 2013, despite his wife suggesting that it was one of the major reasons of their split.
The rumors on Stewart's sexuality became stronger as Williams shared an Instagram post with the text, "Find God, find, yourself, then come find me," which was believed to be directed to her ex-husband.
