‘Fallout 4’ Release Date, Trailer & News: DLC & Digital Deluxe Bundle Now Preorder Now Available for the Xbox One
Gamers will only have to wait one more month until the release of "Fallout 4," which is expected to hit stores on the second week of November, reports Day Herald.
For now, Xbox One users can preorder the $30 "Fallout 4" Season Pass, which is now available at the Xbox Marketplace, reports Gamespot. As for PlayStation 4 and PC gamers, Behesda's marketing executive, Pete Hines, advises you all to "stay tuned" for preorder details.
Day Herald explains that the Season Pass will allow gamers access to all the future DLCs for the game. Bethesda made a statement this September explaining that since the game is still being developed, creators do not actually know the form the DLCs will take.
However, Bethesda did confirm that the DLCs will be coming out early next year and will cost around $40, based on the DLC price ranges for "Oblivion," "Fallout 3" and "Skyrim." So all in all, buying the Season Pass will actually save you some money, at least $10.
Besides the Season Pass preorder, the "Fallout 4" Digital Deluxe Bundle is also now available at the Xbox Marketplace. The bundle will cost $90 and comes with a copy of the game as well as the DLC Season Pass.
Gamespot reminds gamers not to buy or preorder the Season Pass, if you have already preordered the Deluxe Bundle. Doing means you will get charged twice for the Season Pass.
Besides the DLCs for the game, Bethesda has a few other post-release plans that will certainly excite "Fallout 4" fans. According to Trusted Reviews, the company is set to release the game's Creation Kit, which is used by Bethesda's own designers.
The kit will allow players to make whatever they can think up or imagine within the game. It will be available for the PC first, in early 2016. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will get some of the mods from the kit later on.
Another post-release surprise for "Fallout 4" fans are the regular free updates Bethesda is planning. Game Spot explains that the regular updates are essentially to introduce new features and fix bugs in the game.
Some of the new features in the next installment of "Fallout" include Dogmeat and real-time conversations. Day Herald explains that Dogmeat is basically your own personal canine companion in the game. The best part of Dogmeat is that he can never really die.
Hines explains on Express UK that conversations in the game occur in real-time, so gamers can choose to stray away from an NPC if they find the conversation lacking or even immediately shoot a hostile NPC.
