'Bones' Season 11 Episode 1 Spoilers, Cast & Air Date: Will Booth Leave Brennan & Kids?
Will David Boreanaz's Seeley Booth remain missing in "Bones" season 11? More spoilers are surfacing as the "Bones" Season 11 premiere lurks just around the corner.
In the show's Season 10 finale, avid viewers of the FOX TV series are left heartbroken after witnessing how Booth and Temperence Brennan bid farewell to each other.
This left fans focusing in an unending rumor mill on what would happen next in the award-winning series without half of the Booth-Brennan tandem.
But this, says a report from TV Line, is a perfect example of the classic "bait-and-switch" marketing strategy as Boreanaz was spotted returning on set to shoot some scenes for the show.
The outlet even shared a never-before-seen footage of season 11's first episode and described the couple as "a portrait of domestic bliss" after deciding to bail on their "high-stress" jobs in the FBI and the Jeffersonian to focus on their growing family, especially after Christine's younger brother is born.
But, as every person who monitors the rumor mill knows, this paradise-like life does not last for long after Booth suddenly disappears one day when he decided to head out to work at Quantico.
This, says the outlet in a previous report, was because of Boreanaz's health scare which forced the show's writers to rewrite the Season 11's script to allow for his full recovery.
"Nothing matters to me more than Bones, so I was thrilled when the producers came up with a way for me to take a few extra weeks to recover from a personal health issue without delaying production," the 46-year-old actor told the outlet.
"I'm happy to say that I'm now feeling great and will be back to work tomorrow and that our 11th season premiere will broadcast on schedule - with me in it," he continued, confirming that he will still be reprising his role as Seeley Booth in the series.
For those who are hoping to see some Jeffersonian laboratory action, it would be wise not to get your hopes up especially after Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room revealed in August that the show's new season would pick up about six months after they left their jobs.
The series' new showrunner Michael Peterson also revealed some major spoilers to the outlet, saying: "Booth is teaching at Quantico, so he's left the old life behind. Besides just giving birth to a child, Brennan never has trouble filling up her time."
