Blue Ivy Carter Pictures 2013: Behind-the-Scenes Photos From Beyonce's New Album [Photos, Video]
Last week Beyonce uploaded a second behind-the-scenes video giving fans more insight about her new self-titled visual album that she unexpectedly released on Dec. 13 without an ounce of promotion or marketing.
In the four-and-a-half minute video, the 32-year-old songtress tackles the subject of feminism and speaks about working in the music industry throughout her childhood. The proud mother also gushes about her 23-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, along with her husband, hip hop mogul Jay-Z.
"When you get this trophy and you're like I've basically starved, I've neglected all of the people that I love, I've conformed to what everybody else thinks I should be and I have this trophy...What does that mean?," she says.
"The trophy represents all of the sacrifices I made as a kid. All of the time that I lost being on the road, in the studios as a child and I just want to blow that s--t up!"
Beyonce continues, explaining that although she's worked hard throughout her career, she's learned that nothing is as valuable as her family and being a mom.
"I worked harder than probably anyone I know to get those things. But nothing feels like my child saying, 'Mommy!' Nothing feels like when I look my husband in the eyes. Nothing feels like when I'm respected. When I get on the stage and see that I'm changing people's lives. Those are the things that matter."
The video also shows rare behind-the-scenes shots of baby Blue. In addition, the adorable toddler also made her music video debut in the song "Blue" off of Beyonce's album, which also features the pint-sized star's voice.
The video was shot while Beyonce was on her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Brazil.
