Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Support Daughter Shiloh's Wish to Be a Boy
Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt prove to be wonderful and loving parents as they continue to support Shiloh Jolie-Pitt during her gender confusion.
Sources told Radar Online that the A-list couple is doing everything they can to keep Shiloh from being bullied while keeping their other children cope with their sibling's gender issues.
According to the outlet, 9-year-old Shiloh has been bullied by outsiders as well as her peers for wearing boys' clothing.
"Brad and Angie have been doing everything possible to protect her from being bullied by her peers and outsiders. They have also been gently setting the tone for how their five other children interact with Shiloh," the source explained.
With the help of 14-year-old Maddox, the couple's eldest child, Jolie and Pitt's other children are able to understand what their sibling is going through at the moment.
According to the outlet, the couple already sought expert advice regarding their daughter's gender confusion.
"After seeking out professional advice on how to help Shiloh, Brad and Angelina were told to let her dress however she wanted," the insider revealed, adding that the entire dilemma actually became a source of fun for the family.
"This has been an opportunity for fun in the family, because Vivienne and Zahara love to dress up in their mother's clothes. The kids are constantly putting on plays for their parents, and Shiloh often directs with Pax," the source added.
According to a past report from the outlet, Brad Pitt believes that Shiloh's two older brothers may have influenced her into identifying as a male.
However, the expert they consulted explained that there is still a possibility that Shiloh would indentify as a boy even if all her siblings are girls.
"Brad was told Shiloh would have gravitated towards dressing as a boy, and being called John, even if her siblings were all girls. It's just the way Shiloh is, and there is nothing that they did wrong as parents," the source cited.
The source further revealed that while both "Tom Raider" star Angelina Jolie and her husband are both very accepting of Shiloh's choices, Brad Pitt sometimes wonder if his daughter is a 'tomboy.'
"Angelina is very accepting of Shiloh's choices, and Brad is as well. However, Brad wondered if Shiloh was just a tomboy and would outgrow it," the source stated.
In the end, the source lauded the A-list couple for being a great example of loving parents though they may need to add a bit more discipline to their parenting plan.
"Brad and Angelina are loving parents, but were told all of their kids could benefit from more discipline and structure," the source concluded.
