Taylor Swift Can't Get Enough of First Emmy Award! More Selfies Here!
It's that time of year again when Taylor Swift had to pull her signature surprised face.
Except that no, it's not for the Grammy's or VMAs. This time, it's for the Emmys.
Yes, you read that right. According to US Magazine, Taylor won her first Emmy Award at the 2015 Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday in Los Angles, and she can barely keep her excitement to herself. In fact, she was so hyped up about it, she commemorated with a bunch of selfies (with members of her ever-growing entourage, of course).
In a shot with her entire crew, she captioned the post with, "WHEN THEY OVERNIGHT YOU AN EMMY I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS A THING."
But what is the award for? Apparently, the 25-year-old took the golden statue for Original Interactive Program for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience project. With this award, The Huffington Post noted that she is halfway to getting a coveted EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) and at the rate that she's in, who knows, she just might.
So back to her Emmy, it turns out that Taylor was genuinely surprised, she even thought someone was playing a prank on her. In fact, she tweeted about how her day went when she found out about it.
It was after she confirmed the authenticity of The Hollywood Reporter tweet that she started celebrating, with selfies that kept on coming.
She wrote, "If you need us, we'll be taking selfies with the Emmy ALL DAY," she wrote.
On another post, she added, "We have no chill. The Emmy has rendered us chill-less."
It's not like she's a stranger to awards. In fact, according to US magazine, she took home the Video of the Year award for "Bad Blood" at the VMAs, and in late august, she even got an unexpected award from an unlikely person -- Kobe Bryant, who presented her with a banner that read "Taylor Swift Most Sold Out Performances" while she was on the Los Angeles Leg of her 1989 tour. This is due to the fact that the country-turned-pop-star has played 16 sold-out shows at the Staples Center, more than any other performer ever has.
Her 1989 world tour is still ongoing and is scheduled to continue up until December 12.
Check out the rest of her surprised Emmy selfies with her friends and crew on her Instagram page.
