Donald Trump as President of Mexico? Hilarious Video Takes on the Vision! [Watch]
In a parallel universe, what if Republican candidate Donald Trump is running for office in Mexico?
In a hilarious new "Funny or Die" video, George Lopez plays a fictional Mexican presidential candidate named Donaldo Trumpez, a colorful billionaire who is keen on building a wall on the US-Mexico border to keep out drunken American frat boys who go to Tijuana every year.
In the satirical video, Trumpez explained (in Spanish), "When the United States sends their people, they're not sending their best. "They're sending people with lots of problems. They only come to Mexico to watch a show with a donkey and to watch women lift up their tops. Mexico is more than that!"
He also said that the border will keep out lots yanquis who are ruining Mexico, saying that "Every year America sends their damn drunks, their frat boy rapists to Cabo, to Cancun. They come for their spring break to get drunk and to rape each other. It's disgusting!"
As for the "out of control" Mexican drug cartels? Trumpez says this is because America craves drugs. "They want cocaine, and they want methamphetamines. The colors of the American flag should be: Red, white and blow."
The clip ends with Trumpez declaring, "Together, we can make Mexico great again, but we'll need a wall and a big wall. And in that wall, I'll put a big door that will hit you on your big American ass when you leave."
This is not the first time that Mexicans lashed out at Trump's increasingly racist and offensive tirade against their country, either. Earlier this week, The Hollywood Reporter said that a Mexican media network called Azteca promoted the channel's coverage of the upcoming US vs Mexico Confederation Cup playoffs on October 10 by using Trump's own words to show images of Mexican soccer teams' triumph against the US on the soccer field, with Trump ultimately declaring that "the American dream is dead just as the Mexican team El Tri's Gold Cup victory against the US came up on screen.
As for the real Donald Trump, despite his increasingly overboard comments recorded on the news, ABC News reported that he hits the highest support yet in the latest national poll, with 32% supporting him -- the highest national number so far this election cycle.
According to the outlet, the eight-point boost since the last poll is thanks in part to women and college grads. His numbers are up with 13 percentage points from Republican women and 12 percentage points up among Republican college grads.
What do you think about this development in the Republican race?
