In 2008, the original version of the game was released on the Xbox 360 and PC and became an instant success, as per TechTimes.

"The studio delivered millions of copies, the popularity of the four-player-action adventure game being unmatched by any of its other titles," added the same report noting that the game developers now want to bring back the glory of the game with its Xbox One release.

For its pricing, The Behemoth said that the game will have the usual price of $14.99.

But there is good news for Xbox 360 owners who already downloaded the game as it will be free until Sept. 20 for those with Xbox Live Gold membership.

Also, loyalty discounts will be provided to Xbox One owners starting Sept 21, bringing the cost of the game to $5.00 if they downloaded the game before.

"This special $5 price is available for any Xbox Live Gold members who are previous owners of Castle Crashers on Xbox 360," added The Behemoth.

With this latest news on the game, players are really excited for its Xbox One release but they should be able to expect more from the upcoming release.
