‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Cast & Trailer: Promo Videos Are Ready to Scare You [Watch]
With only over a month left before the premiere of "American Horror Story: Hotel", it's about time that Ryan Murphy releases more than just a few seconds of teasers, as he did when he first announced the title of the upcoming season.
And to deliver to his awaiting fans, the AHS director decided to release not one, not two, but three terrifying teasers that are the stuff of nightmares to get the buzz going.
The first is about the children in "Towhead", and if you've ever watched any horror film before, scary children are the stuff of terror. Think "Village of the Damned" or "Children of the Corn" -- evil kids are terrifying. Even Murphy admitted to Entertainment Weekly, "There's nothing scarier than a platinum blonde baby running around doing evil deeds." Lady Gaga also said in a tweet that these creepy little kids are The Countess's children. It must be a big, happy family.
The second one is "Sleepwalk" which focuses on The Mattress Man -- a monster that sew people into the mattresses in the rooms of Hotel Cortez. Whoever sews guests into the beds aren't experts, either, so it's not exactly a seamless kind of prison.
Finally, in Jeepers Peepers, it's all about The Room 64, to be exact -- office of the original owner of Hotel Cortez, mass murderer James March (played by Evan Peters), and unfortunately for those who venture in -- you can't see them, but they certainly can see you. Well, at least that one peeping eyeball can.
What else can we expect of the upcoming season?
For starters, there's going to be a steamy foursome with Lady Gaga, who looks decidedly creepy in her role as the Countess.
It seems that AHS is taking it another step further in horror stories this season, because this is definitely no Stevie Nicks or haunted spirits or even creepy looking clowns -- Ryan Murphy and company has decided to make it into the stuff of nightmares.
E! News reported that this season will also star Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Max Greenfield, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Chloe Sevigny, Matt Bomer, Lily Rabe and Darren Criss.
AHS veteran Jessica Lange will not be returning this season, but is rumored to be part of the next one. Emma Roberts, on the other hand, will star with "Glee" actress Lea Michele in another Murphy creation called "Scream Queens".
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will premiere on Wednesday, October 7 on FX.
