'Dishonored: Definitive Edition' Launches on Xbox One! Gameplay, Features & All You Need to Know
"Dishonored: Definitive Edition" went live on Wednesday for the Xbox One in the United States.
Major Nelson reported that the action-adventure video game from Arkane Studios has now been added to the next-gen Xbox One for $39.99.
"Dishonored Definitive Edition helps you find unique and creative ways to vanquish your enemies with weapons, specially-crafted gadgets, and supernatural abilities," added a WinBeta report.
It also reported that this release will have additional content, including Walker's Arsenal which features character bonuses like additional bone charm slots.
In addition, the Dunwall City Trials is also expected to test the combat and stealth skills of the players.
Forbes reported that Dishonored is an "excellent" video game which was released in 2012.
The Forbes report also praised that story of the game saying it was really good.
"It was one of my very favorite games of 2012, and I can't wait for the sequel-which features young Emily Kaldwin all grown-up. Players can choose either Emily or Corvo in the sequel, as they travel through the coastal city of Karnaca," Forbes contributor Erik Kain wrote.
He added that this newest release will enable newbies of the game to catch up with something that is really great.
According to Gamespot, when they reviewed the game three years ago, they scored it with 9/10.
"The compelling abilities, the bold artistic design, the colorful characters, and above all, the freedom of choice--these are the things that mark Dishonored as one of the truly remarkable games of this year," critic Chris Watters said.
Expected to be released on Aug. 28 in Europe for the PS4 and Xbox One, the game will also come with enhanced graphics and DLC packs like The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witchesl as per VG247.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Lifestyle said that the description of the game reveals that the developed and advanced graphics of the games will "take full advantage of the powerful hardware of this generation."
It also said that the game has been a recipient of more than 100 "Game of the Year" recognitions.
This is also claimed to be the first action game which makes players as "supernatural assassins driven by revenge," making it different from the rest.
"With Dishonored's flexible combat system, creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn," read the game description on PlayStation Lifestyle.
The game's outcome is reportedly always based on the choices that the players make.
