Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green Reportedly Called It Quits! Here's What Happened
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have called it quits and are already living separate lives after spending 11 years together.
Rumors about the couple splitting up have been confirmed after an insider told Us Weekly that the actress decided to leave her husband of five years.
"Megan has separated from Brian. They decided on it six months ago," the unnamed source told Us Weekly.
According to the report, the 42-year-old former teen heartthrob and the 29-year-old "Transformers" star had been pestered with issues recently, some of which are speculated to have caused their breakup.
Entertainment Today listed a couple of things that quite possibly caused their 'suprising' separation, including possible intimacy issues.
In a previous interview, Fox even told Entertainment Today that her husband had not been receiving "any intimacy whatsoever" after she became a mother.
This is against the fact that most men may see Green as a lucky man for being "married to one of the most beautiful women in the world."
Fox also noted how she made the effort of spending quality alone time with her husband by letting her mother-in-law babysit while they went on a date despite her reluctance at letting her very young offspring out of her sight.
Another issue that had been the highlight of reports on the couple's separation is a squabble about the actress's "obsession" about getting roles.
In fact, a source once told the Daily Mail UK that Fox and Green may have separated because of arguments regarding the actress's career.
"They fight about her career. She was obsessed with getting roles," the source explained.
The source added that Green may have wanted his young wife to spend more time with her family, especially with their two children, two-year-old Noah and 18-month-old Bodhi.
A friend of Green's also noted how the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star had been going on an independent streak - something that her husband does not like.
According to Us Weekly, the couple had been spotted grabbing lunch together in Beverly Hills in June, though a source revealed to the Daily Mail UK that they have already been apart for six months.
"They're on friendly terms for the sake of their kids," the source explained.
The source also said that the couple wanted "to do their own things."
Green and Fox first met in 2004 when the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor guest-starred in her sitcom "Hope & Faith."
Early in 2009, the couple called off their engagement after Fox, who was 23 years old at the time, expressed her doubts about how a girl her age can handle marriage.
But that did not stop the couple from realizing what they wanted when Green re-proposed in June 2010 that eventually led to a Hawaii wedding 24 days later.
