There are rumors claiming that major mobile manufacturers are planning to introduce 3D technology for gaming.
According to smartphones2016.com, Samsung's Galaxy S7 will be equipped with 3D gaming when it rolls out in the market. The LG G5 and HTC One M10 are also said to come in bearing the technology.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Processor
Though the tech giant has not yet issued an official statement about the product, a lot of rumors and speculations have been going around about the Galaxy S7's specifications and features.
G4Games reported from Chinese microblogging site Weibo that the Galaxy S7 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820.
This was because of a rumor claiming that Samsung has switched to the "Agile" project development process in order "to finalize its upcoming flagship by December and thus shaving 1 to 2 month from the entire planning-to-store-shelves life cycle," the news outlet wrote.
G4Games also published a screenshot of internal Samsung documents showcasing the Android M upgrade program. It also indicated the pairing of MSM8996 (Snapdragon 820) and Jungfrau, the rumored Galaxy S7 codename.
"We have to use the best engines to make our products competitive, which is why we opted to use our own chips," said JK Shin, head of Samsung Mobile, as quoted by PC Advisor. "But we may very well end up using products from Qualcomm again in the next Galaxy phone."
Other Specs
The Galaxy S7 is said to come in with a 5.5-inch screen display that has 4K resolution, smartphones2016.com. The news outlet added that the smartphone will have 4GB RAM.
A patent application from Samsung published by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office revealed a device that has the capacity to display a hologram and/or holographic icons, Patently Mobile reported.
The images shared by Patently Mobile showed the smartphone's main body that contains a screen, a light guide member positioned above the screen, an "entrance optical member disposed on a surface of the light guide member, and an image hologram disposed on a surface of the light guide member which is laterally spaced apart from the entrance optical member."
Value Walk noted that if this patent gets incorporated in the Galaxy S7, the technology could "revolutionize the smartphone industry." However, the tech proves to be more intricate than it seems.

Phone Arena speculated that the Galaxy S7 will probably be ready in the second half of 2015, though the handset might not exactly roll out in time for Christmas. It is expected to be announced earlier than normal next year.
