Donald Trump's Campaign 'All Entertainment'? Hillary Clinton Disses Republican Candidate
Donald Trump is the one that brought media circus to next year's elections, and it seems that every time he appears on TV, he manages to insult at least another person.
Which is probably why Hillary Clinton couldn't take his campaign seriously.
CNN reported that at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, Clinton made most of her points against Florida Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush - but not without throwing a diss against Trump first.
She said about Trump, "Yes, I know it makes great TV. I think the guy went way overboard - offensive, outrageous, pick your adjective..."
Then she drove her point by adding, "But what Marco Rubio said has as much of an impact in terms of where the Republican Party is today as anybody on that stage, and it is deeply troubling. And it should be to the press, not just to those of us who have been doing this work for so long."
It comes to no surprise that Trump, who has been attacking and offending people left and right, also attacked Clinton.
The real estate mogul even went so far as to bringing up her attendance at his wedding, saying, "With Hillary Clinton, I said, 'Be at my wedding,' and she came to my wedding. You know why? She had no choice! Because I gave [donations]."
On Clinton's part, she made it clear that she isn't taking her competitor seriously. While she thought going to his wedding to model Melania Knauss in 2005 was fun, it was never because of Trump's donations.
ABC News reported that Clinton said, "It's entertainment. It's all entertainment. I think he's having the time of his life. Getting up on that stage, you know, being up on that stage, saying whatever he wants to say, getting people excited, both for and against him."
Clinton also gave her two cents about Trump's comments about Fox News host Megyn Kelly following the GOP Debate, although for her, it's not just Trump that America has to worry about - it's the entire Republican roster.
She said, "While what Donald Trump said about Megyn Kelly is outrageous, what the rest of the Republicans are saying about all women is also outrageous. Megyn Kelly is a strong woman and more than capable of defending herself against Trump."
She added, "I'm worried about what Republican policies would do to the rest of America's women."
What do you think of Hillary Clinton's reaction about the Republican party thus far?
