'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Updates: Zombie Screenshots, Co-op Gameplay & PS4 Xbox One PC Release Date Here
It looks like "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" promises a fresh look for its campaign and competitive multiplayer, as revealed by recently released new screenshots.
In a report, IGN said that the move was to celebrate the game's appearance at Gamescom set for this week.
Coming Soon added that the nine new screenshots reveal that the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is bent on taking the players "into a dark, gritty future, where cybernetics and biotechnology have given rise to a new breed of soldier."
The players will also reportedly take the roles of Black Ops soldiers as they play with or against each other in the upcoming installment.
"With a new momentum-based, chained movement system that allows players to move fluidly through environments and maintain constant control of their weapon, 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' is packed with new multiplayer features," added Coming Soon.
The game will also reportedly come with a customisation feature to allow players make their own weapons.
There will also be a so-called Specialist system which gives gamers the chance to choose and rank Black Ops soldiers depending on their look, personality and background.
According to GameZone, the game will be available with an entire campaign unlocked giving players the chance to choose every level with ease.
"This means that Black Ops 3 won't punish your friends for waiting a while before picking up the game. If you're looking to explore the game's co-op experience with a friend, they can jump right in - no matter what part of the game you have made it to," explained GameZone.
It was also reported that for players who like to share their progress in the game with their friends, perks await. One example is that they can share weapon in a co-op gameplay.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will launch on November 6 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Users can preorder the game from its official website or with partner retailers Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, Target and Walmart for $59.99.
Amazon described the game as "unlike anything before it."
Amazon also said that "Black Ops III" will use the same network infrastructure and social systems supporting "world-class Multiplayer and Zombies game modes."
"Treyarch premieres a new momentum-based chained-movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations, all while maintaining complete control over your weapon at all times," according to the game description on Amazon.
The game's multiplayer beta, GameSpot said, will be available from August 19 to August 23 only for the Xbox One and PC.
Game developer Activision, however, has reportedly expressed that it will announce the beta versions for other platforms soon.
