Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Photo Sold? Family Feud Heats Up at Funeral
It seems that even in death, Bobbi Kristina Brown can't find the peace she deserves.
Only three years after the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, the remains of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina were buried at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
Brown passed away on July 26, six months after she was found lying facedown in a bathtub last January 31, in an incident eerily similar to her own mother's death.
Unfortunately, not unlike Whitney's funeral services, Bobbi Kristina's was also full of drama.
First, a photo of the deceased in her grave was reportedly sold to a tabloid for $100,000, according to MSN News.
The photo was taken of her in the coffin, but was said to have been snapped during her viewing on Friday, just before her funeral in Georgia.
The person who took the photo of Brown in her casket was not publicly identified, although this isn't the first time that an unauthorized photo of her was snapped and shopped around for the media.
A photo of her in her hospice bed in Atlanta also circled the media circuits for around the same price. However that time, it was reported that the inappropriate snap was taken by a family member hoping to make some cash.
At the funeral, US Magazine reported that Leolah Brown, the sister of Bobby Brown (and Bobbi Kristina's aunt), made a scene at the funeral by screaming at Whitney's sister, Pat.
Leolah was heard yelling, "Whitney is rolling over in her grave! You are so wrong for this, Pat!"
USA Today reported that when she was taken outside the to calm down, Leolah made a beeline for the media, warning them that the feud between herself and Pat Houston was just getting started.
She said,
"I told (Pat) that Whitney is going to haunt her from the grave."
Notably absent from Bobbi Kristina's funeral and burial is her partner, Nick Gordon.
Gordon reportedly found the 22-year-old in the bathtub, but has repeatedly said on social media that he wasn't allowed to see her during her time at the hospital, where she lay comatose for the last six months.
According to CNN, a civil lawsuit was also filed against Bobbi Kristina's partner last June.
He was accused to have accessed her accounts and stealing over $11,000.
Bobbi Kristina's final resting place is right next to her mother at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey where a private burial was scheduled on Monday.
