Salma Hayek Topless for Allure Magazine; Reveals Worst Beauty Advice She's Ever Heard
Salma Hayek is one of those Hollywood actresses who have enviably curvaceous bodies. Now that she is approaching her 50's, some might wonder if the movie star got help from professionals in achieving her gorgeous bod. As the latest cover girl of Allure magazine, Hayek revealed her beauty secrets and talked about how her husband helps her maintain confidence.
Hayek, 48, posed topless for Allure magazine's August 2015 issue. One black-and-white image from the photoshoot featured the actress sans top while clutching her bare breasts.
The accompanying interview of the magazine highlighted Hayek's marriage with her husband, billionaire and Kering owner Francois-Henri Pinault, and how she managed to maintain her beauty without the help of surgery.
"You should start Botox.' When I was young, they tried to sell me on the idea: 'If you do it now, then you won't get the wrinkles,'" Hayek told Allure magazine, when asked about the worst beauty advice she's ever got. "And thank God I didn't do that."
In May, Hayek said in an interview with ELLE magazine that an ingredient called Tepezcohuite from her home country Mexico keeps her face looking fresh and beautiful. In addition, she said that good beauty tips were passed down to her from her grandmother, who taught Hayek how to take care of her skin since she was a young girl.
The lead star of "The Prophet" said that these ingredients are enough to make her stay away from plastic surgery clinics, ELLE magazine added. She insisted that she has no Botox, peels, or fillings and only uses creams on her skin.
Hayek said that majority of her confidence comes from her husband, whom she married in 2009 and has a 9-year-old daughter with named Valentina. Despite their busy schedules, Hayek insisted that she and her husband and daughter never stay apart from long periods of time, E! News reported.
"I wish I knew [when I was younger] that I was going to fall crazy in love with the perfect man," the Mexican actress told Allure, as quoted by E! News. "I was so worried, and I dated some people I shouldn't have dated. You get desperate, and you start seeing wonderful things in, like, the wrong guys."
The "Everly" star continued, "I also found some pretty good guys. But I wish I could say to myself, 'Hey, chill out. You're going to get a great husband that's going to adore you.' I would have saved myself a lot of personal drama."
According to Hayek, she considered quitting from acting after her daughter was born, but Pinault urged her to continue working because he doesn't want to be "deprived" of the actress' talents, adding that the "world has not seen the best" of Hayek yet, E! News reported.
