Marc Anthony & La India Reuniting on New Duet Song? Find Out Here!
La India isn't opposed to doing another duet with Marc Anthony.
The singer, whose real name is Linda Viera Caballero, is making a comeback to the music scene after 5 years of being under the radar, Latin Times wrote. She is currently working on a new album called "Intensamente Con Canciones de Juan Gabriel" together with the iconic El Divo de Juarez.
When asked by TV y Novelas if she would like to have another collaboration with Anthony, La India answered, as translated by Latin Times, "Why don't you ask him? This is something that intrigues, that kills, that surprises, that makes the earth move every time they ask me, but it's whatever God wants."
The 46-year-old recording artist continued, "You never know what could happen in the future. Until now, I feel very positive and very proud of forming part of a duo that left many people talking."
The Puerto Rican singers recorded "Vivir Lo Nuestro" back in 1994. It should be noted that Anthony said at a 2014 concert in Columbia that "Vivir Lo Nuestro" is one of his favorite songs, "but not the singer who he recorded it with," Latin Times added.
He continued, "This song was recorded with a 'weird chick' which I do not like."
La India, on the other hand, said that she doesn't have ill feelings towards her fellow artists.
"I try to focus on staying positive and on my career," she explained, as reported by the news outlet. "I've never been the kind of person who thinks about other people or someone who is at war with others. I am a loving, positive and fun person."
Marc Anthony Slammed with Lawsuit
Last month, it was reported that Anthony has been sued by a Dutch entertainment company for allegedly putting on shows with a rival firm, Contact Music reported.
The lawsuit was filed at Manhattan Supreme Court in New York City by executives at R&J Entertainment and International Creative Talent, Contact Music wrote. According to the legal action's claims, Anthony agreed to hold shows with the firm in London, as well as Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, before dealing with another company to do concerts.
In an April 2015 interview, Anthony opened up about being mislabeled as a crossover when in fact, he was born in New York City.
"It's become the status quo, 'Oh, you're a crossover.' From where? Where do you think I'm from? I was born on 102nd Street and Third Avenue in Manhattan, New York City," he explained, as reported by E! News. "In other words, you don't belong here but it's good enough for us to accept. I never got that [idea]. I don't recognize it."
