With the upcoming Sunday Night Football on Sept. 10, fans are already anticipating on what they can expect for the weekly TV broadcast.
Here is a rundown of the top exciting things that should fans should look forward to:
Carrie Underwood is Performing
Rolling Stone said that the American Idol winner will be accompanied by 11 NFL players including brothers Peyton and Eli Manning, while she performs the opening theme of the program "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," on Sept. 7 when the Denver Broncos will host the Indianapolis Colts.
Other players who will appear with Underwood are San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly and New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham.
McCoy said that he also has a talent for singing. "They might want me to replace Carrie Underwood ... out of all the players, I'm definitely the best singer," he added.
Odell Beckham will be Featured
The Madden 16 cover player and 2014 Rookie of the Year, according to Fox Sports, will be featured on the opening credit of the Sunday Night Football. This is reportedly another round of opportunities awarded to the skilful player which he also enjoys.
Dez Bryant in Sunday Night Football Promo Vid
According to CBS Sports, the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver is part of the video promo for the opening theme song.
"This is a notable development because some have taken it as a sign that Dez will indeed suit up for the first game of the season against the Giants, despite his recent threat to skip it if he doesn't receive a long-term contract," explained the same report.
It was also noted that aside from this sign, there are a lot of indications that Bryant will remain with the team come Week 1 game.
Clay Matthews to Crowd Surf Again?
TotalPackers said that the Green Bay Packers linebacker may do another crowd surf move like he did last year.
