Jessica Simpson Jealous of Jessica Alba? Sources Reveal Why
Jessica Simpson is said to be jealous of Jessica Alba's entrepreneurial success.
OK! Magazine's sources claimed that Simpson is upset over the accomplishments of Alba's eco-friendly The Honest Company, which has already hit the $1 billion mark after just three years on business. Simpson's own fashion line also reached the same earnings, but it took her almost a decade to do so.
"She busted her butt and paved the way for celeb businesswomen and is still fighting for respect," OK!'s insider said of Simpson's fashion line. "She feels like Jessica Alba just breezed onto the scene."
Us Weekly reported that Simpson is set to open fashion boutiques across the country offering clothing, shoes, fragrances, and accessories. Her products were usually sold at major department stores like Macy's and Dillard's since its debut. This means that the boutiques are a step forward for the fashion line.
The news comes after the pop star-turned-businesswoman sold half of her company's stake to Sequential Brands Group, Inc., Us Weekly noted.
Jessica Alba Spends Time with Family
Alba, who is married to Cash Warren and now has two daughters, 6-year-old Honor Marie and Haven Garner, 3, established The Honest Company alongside former Healthy Child Healthy World CEO Christopher Gavigan three years ago, HELLO! Fashion Monthly wrote. The organization manufactures eco-friendly and non-toxic consumer goods, and aims to educate parents about keeping their children safe from harmful chemicals.
"We give people access to safer and healthier options to live a better life," Alba said of her company, as quoted by Fox News Latino. "Education is a huge piece of what the Honest Company is all about: empowering people with knowledge, so they can make better choices."
Just recently, Alba, together with her family, paid a visit to Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Saturday, June 27.
The actress shared a photo on her Instagram page featuring her family posing with the characters of "Frozen," such as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. They were joined by "Lost" actor Harold Perrineau, his wife Brittany, and their daughters Wynter, 7, and Holiday, 2, Celebrity Baby Scoop reported. Alba's parents were also there in the trip.
Prior to meeting the "Frozen" gang, Alba's group also stopped over at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida on Thursday, June 25, Us Weekly wrote. Last week, Alba shared another snapshot on Instagram of her daughters wearing color coordinated dresses for a Father's Day picture with Warren.
According to Alba, their kids are "very girlie," adding that she lets the girls play educational apps.
"But, of course, the makeover apps are their favorite," she told Us Weekly. "It's like mermaid makeover."
