Jahlil Okafor Speaks Out on Viral Sex Story! NBA Rookie Reveals Plan of Action
Philadelphia 76ers' newest member Jahlil Okafor refuted claims of the sexual encounter stories circling on the Internet about him, saying that those never happened and that he was just a mere victim.
In a TMZ report, the NBA rookie said that all that is spreading on the Web are "lies" and that he is already considering taking legal action on the matter.
For the past day, the Internet has been filled with reactions on a story of a woman named "Chanel" claiming on social media that she hooked up with the player.
According to Complex, Twitter user QueenChanelK_ detailed how bad Okafor can be in the bedroom with her revealing ugly details about his private parts and his actions during sex.
She filled her Twitter feed with all those sexual details of their supposed encounter but she was not satisfied with that as she threatened Okafor that she will post nude photos if she does not hear from him soon.
"Im bouta leak jahlil nudes if he keep ignoring my texts," she tweeted.
But in a statement to TMZ Sports, Okafor's camp said the story on Twitter was all made up and that the NBA rookie has never met this girl and has no idea who she is.
It was also reported that Okafor reached out to the Twitter user to ask her to remove her tweets and that his team has asked the social networking site to take down the account because they go against stated policies. As of present time, the account of Chanel is not anymore active.
Twitter could have brought her username down or she got afraid of the repercussions of her actions including facing legal charges.
Okafor has recently become a big name in the NBA after he was picked third overall at the 2015 draft.
A USA Today report said that he seemed not happy landing with the 76ers after he dropped his jersey like it meant nothing to him during a press conference.
But he noted that he is excited to start the NBA season with the team."It's a great feeling," he said in the USA Today article.
Okafor added that the team is certainly right in choosing big men because they are great choices in the league because of their reputation to bring in great games and win championship titles.
"For as long as I remember, big men have dominated the NBA. People got a little excited because of what Steph Curry did - and he was fantastic. But as long as I remember, big men have been dominating and the results have been championships," he added.
For Okafor, it seems that the recent scandal is just a way to smear his name on the NBA even before he starts playing for the 76ers.
