Demi Lovato's brand new song will be unveiled on July 1.

The track, titled "Cool for the Summer," was announced by the pop singer on her Twitter page recently. Lovato's tweet was accompanied by the song's cover artwork. Check it out below.

According to Billboard, the former Disney star's upcoming single marks her first new music after her 2013 album "Demi," which contains the songstress' hit songs such as "Really Don't Care," "Heart Attack," "Made In the USA," and "Neon Lights."

"Cool for the Summer" is also Lovato's first release under Safehouse Records, her joint venture with Nick Jonas and Phil McIntyre, Music Times wrote.

Last February, Lovato revealed that her fifth studio album will be her "best work yet" and will showcase "game changing music." She also said that the record will be "authentic" and will represent who she really is and the voice she has inside.

Demi's New Mobile Game

Aside from new music coming up, Lovato is also involved in a mobile game from developer Pocket Games.

The Lovato-centric mobile game will "show fans what it's like to join Demi on tour while chasing their dreams of becoming a famous musician," Entertainment Weekly reported. The 22-year-old recording artist also helped in her avatar's fashion style and dialogues.

"Demi is without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers in the world and we're thrilled to be working with her," Pocket Gems' Jameel Khalfan said in a statement, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. "We believe Lovatics will really enjoy getting to experience a part of Demi's life that they're not used to seeing."

An official title for the mobile game is yet to be announced, the news outlet added. The game, which is set to roll out this summer, will feature Lovato's "Camp Rock" days in the Disney Channel network, as well as her four studio albums and landing a gig on "The X Factor" as one of the talent show's judges.

Lovato is one of the initial influencers of Twitter's new "product and place" features, which "will make it easier to find curated bundles of trending news, the social media network says it is also working on ways to help you buy stuff," Billboard reported.

Fans of the artist will also get to see Lovato's acting chops in Sony Pictures' Animation's "Get Smurfy" reboot alongside Mandy Patinkin and Rainn Wilson.

"Get Smurfy" will feature Smurfette and her brothers as they travel through the Enchanted Forest in the hopes of finding the mythical Smurfs village before the evil Gargamel does, Deadline wrote. The upcoming film will finally answer the questions surrounding the Smurfs' origin, particularly the reason why there are 99 boys and only one girl.
