'WWE 2K16' Roster Members Revealed! PS4 Xbox One North America & International Release Date Details Here
For the upcoming "WWE 2K16" game, 2K announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on Tuesday the first six roster members who will be part of the game installment.
Expected to be the largest WWE video game in history, "WWE 2K16" will include Superstars and Divas like Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Paige and Finn Bálor, as per WWE.com.
The same report added that other WWE superstars who will also be part of the game will be revealed in the coming weeks. The game will be released on Oct. 27 in North America and internationally, three days later on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
A recent Gaming Bolt report said the game will have the biggest roster of wrestlers compared to previous releases.
"Along with the announcement of the first six members of the WWE 2K16 the company released a number of pieces of artwork depicting [the six players chosen to be part of the game]," added Gaming Bolt.
"WWE 2K16" is claimed to be centered on the Attitude Era rivalry of Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels and is expected to be accompanied by another more modern feud just like the "WWE 2K15." The game is already available for pre-order at Amazon and Gamestop for $59.99.
"We're already working on that. A lot of people ask about my old broadcast partner. They're having in this year's game, a big Stone Cold Steve Austin Attitude Era section and they have me and J.R. back together again in the studio doing voice-overs for that," said Lawler, as per WhatCulture.
Aside from Austin, iDigitalTimes mentioned that other WWE stars have already confirmed their participation in the game, including: Sasha Banks, Rosa Mendes and Zack Ryder. These wrestlers noted that they have been scanned and will be part of the 2K Games' roster.
Gospel Herald noted that "WWE 2K16" promises to be a lot better than its predecessor, adding that Ross will likely lend his voice in support of the upcoming game that it is also believed to feature "historical matches and content."
The upcoming release is said to feature a new body mechanics system, such that players will properly react to stimuli like being struck in different body parts.
"Players can also use a variety of weapons including tables, folding chairs, kendo sticks, ladders and sledge hammers. There may also be a stamina system that determines whether players can complete a move for their favorite wrestler," noted Gospel Herald.
With this recent development of the game, fans are becoming more and more excited over the other wrestlers who will also be part of it.
