Moto G 2015 3rd Generation Release Date Looming? The Latest Specs, Features & Price Details Here [Rumors]
The Moto G 2015 3rd Generation could be out in the market as early as next month with reports indicating that the device is indeed nearing its release date.
Phone Arena reports that Motorola has a 10-month waiting time before releasing its new Moto G version, noting that a July release is highly possible.
The site also reported earier that e-commerce company Flipkart accidentally listed the device saying that it will have the model number AP3560AD1K8 and is expected to come in white color.
The said listing only revealed that the phone will have a storage of 8GB though earlier reports claimed that it could also come in a 16GB variant.
Meanwhile, Phone Arena added that in a recent interview with Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanging, who recently acquired Motorola, he mentioned that they are currently working on some models to be released soon.
"We have many new models in development with the Moto brands...so you may see in summer us launching some very exciting products, including phones and watches," Yuanging said.
Since it is rumored to be released soon, Moto fans are now excited to find out what the phone will offer to the public.
Christian Today earlier said the device will come with either a 5-inch or a 5.2-inch display, 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 4G LTE capability.
A similar Ecumenical News report noted that the 3rd Generation Moto G will also have Bluetooth connectivity options and will run on the latest version of Android Lollipop.
As for design, MotoG3 said the phone will have some changes especially in terms of its depth and corners.
"In terms of audio and speakers the phone will have dual front side speaker like it's old brother. The reason behind choosing this type of design is huge Audio Lovers customers," explained MotoG3.
This feature will surely aid easy listening and provide a more powerful audio support for those who love to listen to their favorite music or watch movies using their smartphones.
The same report said that the Moto G 2015 is also expected to cost slightly lower than the Moto G 2nd Generation's introductory price, which was around $223.
Its battery is claimed to be between 2,400–2,500mAh with a full HD screen and a 1.6Ghz CPU demanding more power from the device.
According to GSM Arena, the handset could come with a 16-megapixel primary camera, and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies. Its display is rumored to be made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
