Caitlyn Jenner & Dennis Rodman Dating Soon? 'Be You Honey', Says Former Basketball Player
Bruce Jenner's coming out shook Hollywood and the global Internet community with the mere fact that he is now a "she" known as "Caitlyn." However, it appears that the remarkable string of events happening to Kris Jenner's ex-husband doesn't end there, especially now that former basketball superstar Dennis Rodman has expressed his desire to date Caitlyn.
Now that she has already revealed her true self to the entire world by posing on the cover of Vanity Fair, Caitlyn Jenner has become the hottest topic in Hollywood and on social media.
Like any other cover girl gracing the magazine, the former athlete talked about something that made her standout which, in this case, is her decision to shout to the world who she really is. She talked about many things but what E! Online noted in a report as the most peculiar thing about the entire revelation is her choice of name.
"It's one of the hardest things in life-choosing your own name," the magazine quoted Caitlyn while she was explaining that she had listed down possible names by reviewing the names of candidates for Miss America.
Her top choices were Cathy and Heather, but she went for Caitlyn because it stuck with her after Rhonda, her assistant, claimed she liked the name by chance.
Jenner took this as a sign and decided to take on the name, which obviously suits her well and even earned her respect from the Internet community and admiration from famous celebrities like former NBA superstar Dennis Rodman.
Rodman, who had been reported to cross-dress in the past, declared his support and even claimed that he would like date Caitlyn Jenner, TMZ has learned.
According to the TMZ report, Rodman lauded how the society is taking Caitlyn's coming out well noting that it would have been different if he did the same thing during the '90s, when homosexual athletes had their "asses handed to them" if they revealed their true self.
Rodman's admiration was not only directed towards the society alone, but also to Caitlyn. The retired basketball superstar even expressed his intention to go out with Jenner on a date, saying: "If you wanna go on a date with me brotha, let me know."
He also tweeted: "I've got nothing but love for my girl Caitlyn Jenner. Be you honey."
Reports from UPI and Inquisitr recalled how Rodman was engaged in a similar situation in the past when he admitted to wearing makeup, dressing up and acting like a girl.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn, who just recently joined the social networking community, expressed via Twitter how happy she is for being able to live as her true self.
