You'd find it hard to imagine Channing Tatum with beard and glasses, but in a video, the 35-year-old "Magic Mike" actor went undercover to surprise a group of fans looking like an unsexy old man, during the advance screening of "Magic Mike XXL."

People Magazine noted that the video, which has been circulating online, was created as part of the actor's partnership with charity fundraising platform Omaze.

Omaze, has a variety of charities under its belt, including the Runa Foundation, Love Is Louder, Noreen Fraser Foundation and Mobile Kitchen Classroom, My Brother's Keeper Alliance, and The Sierra Club Foundation.

Tatum's support, however, is for the Runa Foundation, which, according to Omaze's official website, "is sponsoring the creation of the world's first medical and research clinics for Amazonian plant medicine: Rios Nete, in Peru, and Naku, in Ecuador."

The actor was transformed into a boring old marketing representative, pranking viewers and letting them think he was asking them questions about the film centered on a group of male strippers.

According to Time Magazine, his marketing rep name was Scott, and he asked the viewers a series of questions for "research purposes" and went the extra mile to make them feel uncomfortable.

A report from the Sydney Morning Herald noted that Tatum did such a good job with his new look that a woman he interviewed wrote him off as just another "weird" guy. The woman said, "I thought he was the weirdest interviewer. We were like 'Who is this guy? How does he work in marketing?'"

Before the screening started, a group of shirtless dancers went past the audience for a dance performance, and Tatum joined the group, including grinding on the lap of a lady before he revealed his identity. The recipient of the lap dance told People, "Well Channing Tatum has twerked on my lap, so in that sense, I have pretty much reached peak life."

While his role as a male stripper is easily the most looked-forward to by fans, Variety noted that he's also signed on to produce and star in a drama called "Two Kisses for Maddy," which is based on the book "Two Kisses For Maddy: A Memoir Of Loss And Love" by Matthew Logelin. The story is based on Logelin's struggle to raise his daughter following the death of his wife. However, news about this film is still scarce.

"Magic Mike XXL" will hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
