'Nashville' Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers: Who Will Die? [Video]
On the latest "Nashville," Juliette put Layla in her place and things got awkward on the Luke Wheeler tour.
In "I'm Tired of Pretending," Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) steals the spotlight from Layla (Aubrey Peeples) by rushing onstage and taking the duet that Layla was supposed to have with Will (Chris Carmack). Layla runs offstage in tears after Juliette bogarted her duet. But Juliette just says "What? She started it."
Charlie (Charlie Bewley) is still around, but Juliette gets rid of him after having a talk with Will about relationships. She realizes that Charlie is bringing out the worst in herself, so she ends it.
Layla then calls TMZ and tells them that Juliette is the reason why Charlie filed for divorce from Olivia. Yet, it is a moot point because Juliette is no longer having an affair with Charlie.
Meanwhile, Maddie (Lennon Stella) wants to take guitar lessons with Deacon (Chip Esten) to get to know him better. Later, at Maddie's open mic night, Teddy (Eric Close) confronts Deacon about not being her father and tells him to stay away from her. Maddie sees them fighting and storms off. Deacons decides he wants to fight for his rights as Maddie's biological father, which angers Teddy.
On the Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) tour, Zoey (Chaley Rose) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) decide to meet up with Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson). Zoey hasn't told Scarlett about her and Gunnar. Then Scarlett finds out on her own when she catches the two kissing.
Rayna (Connie Britton) speaks on Lamar's (Powers Boothe) behalf at the hearing, but it fails, and Lamar is denied house arrest.
On the next episode, "Tomorrow Never Comes," "Juliette is the main act at Teddy's first annual Music City Festival, but the blowback by the fans and press over the Wentworths throws her for a loop and drags down the event. She demands that Glenn find out who leaked career-killing gossip to the tabloids so she can get ahead of the bad press by calling them out. Rayna is determined to buy herself out of her Edgehill contract once and for all, even though Tandy and Luke counsel otherwise. Should she risk all her assets on Highway 65? Deacon and Gunnar find themselves marginalized at the Festival and team up to to put on an unauthorized show, and Scarlett is freezing out Zoey and Gunnar but drawing closer to Avery. However, by evening's end, someone from the world of Nashville will be gone forever."
