Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian Reunion Possible? NBA Player Says 'KUTWK' Star is 'Still My Girl'
Former NBA player Lamar Odom has finally opened up about the status of his relationship with wife Khloe Kardashian, hinting that a reunion is still possible since their divorce is still on hold.
TMZ reports that Odom made the revelation in Santa Monica on Monday when he was asked if he and Khloe will still get back together. In response, the basketball player said, "Of course," adding the Kardashian is still "his girl."
"The audio is a little low, but we're pretty sure he added ... 'That's my wife,"' added TMZ.
Last December 2013, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star filed for a divorce but there has been no development since then. Plus, there is a possibility that the case could be dismissed anytime soon because of inaction.
According to a similar Daily Mail report, the former Los Angeles Clippers player seemed to be in good spirits when he was asked the question.
The same report noted that the couple split in the summer of 2013 after Kardashian accused Odom of "stepping out on her and partying too hard."
After they separated, the reality TV star dated French Montana but they reportedly split recently.
Interestingly, it seems that Khloe has a new man in her life since she was seen dancing with an unnamed man at a Las Vegas nightclub on Friday.
In a May 26 Instagram post, Kardashian seemed to have opened up about her feelings though it was not clear if the message was for Odom or for her mother Kris, who recently broke up with the Kardashian patriarch, Bruce Jenner.
"I know you've lost someone and it hurts. You may have lost them suddenly, unexpectedly. Or perhaps you began losing pieces of them until one day, there was nothing left. You may have known them all your life or you may have barely known them at all. Either way, it is irrelevant - you cannot control the depth of a wound another soul inflicts upon you," the post read.
The post, which was entitled "Broken Hearts," went on to state that the writer "is not here to tell you tomorrow is another day. That the sun will go on shining. Or there are plenty of fish in the sea."
"What I will tell you is this; it's okay to be hurting as much as you are. What you are feeling is not only completely valid but necessary - because it makes you so much more human. And though I can't promise it will get better any time soon, I can tell you that it will - eventually. For now, all you can do is take your time. Take all the time you need," the post concluded.
Analyzing the social media post, Hollywood Life said the passage, which was written by Lang Leav, sent a deep message that Khloe Kardashian is not yet ready to move on from her relationship with Odom.
The same site added that the TV star could still be hurting since her split from Odom and that this could be her response to the recent interview of the basketball player.
