The fifth "Mission: Impossible" film won't be released in theaters until the end of July, but there are already talks regarding a sixth installment of the popular movie franchise.

News about the project tentatively titled "Mission: Impossible 6" was first reported by The Tracking Board. According to the news outlet, Paramount Pictures, Bad Robot, and Skydance Productions are already developing the film installment, with Tom Cruise, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and J.J. Abrams returning as producers. Don Granger and Matt Grimm are set to executive produce the movie, while Elizabeth Raposo will oversee the sequel's development.

With these talks about the sixth film still in its infancy, recurring cast members are still hard to determine. The Tracking Board, however, claimed that the team cast ensemble consisting of Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Paula Patton will come back to their respective roles for the sequel. Rebecca Ferguson, who stars in the fifth installment, "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation," could also return for the sixth movie.

Despite of these early rumors about a sixth "Mission: Impossible" film, it is expected that fans will have to wait for a long time before it hits theaters. Screenrant pointed out that the series likes to put years between their installments. Plus, the cast is also busy with their other acting commitments. Renner has a contract with Marvel while Pegg is involved in "Star Trek 3." There are also reports about Cruise being on board the "Jack Reacher" sequel.

"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" will feature Cruise returning to his role as Impossible Missions Force agent Ethan Hunt. The upcoming film will also showcase Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris, IGN listed.

As reported by IGN, the movie's official synopsis reads: "Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF."

Filming for the fifth installment began in Vienna in August, with other scenes taken in locations in London, Morocco, and Monaco, Daily Mail wrote. The film was previously scheduled for a December 25, 2015 release, but has since moved to a July premiere date ahead of the upcoming James Bond film titled "Spectre" due in November, Variety reported.

"Rogue Nation" comes after 2011's "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol." The fourth installment is the highest-grossing movie of the franchise as of late, Express wrote.

Christopher Quarrie directed and wrote "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation," which is slated for release in theaters on July 31, 2015. Watch the trailer below.
