Kim Kardashian Admits to Pursuing Kanye West, Says There Was A ‘Spark’
If you're an avid fan of reality star Kim Kardashian, you probably follow her on all her social media sites. While Inquisitr noted that the newly appointed Dr. Kanye West is an incredible husband to Kim and a good father to their daughter, North, you'd be surprised to know that Kim was the one who actually pursued the rapper!
From surprising her with thousands of flowers to a special dinner even though they're miles apart, it seems that Kanye never runs out of romantic gimmicks for his wife, he should be thankful she found it in her to pursue him in the first place!
Kim admitted in Access Hollywood that she has always been attracted to the rapper.
In a sitdown with Billy Bush, she shared, "When I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance. We stayed in touch here and there and then when he wasn't in relationships, you know, it's just our timing would always not really coincide."
She added, "And then, I think it was six months after I was newly single in like 2012, I was like why not? Like, what am I waiting for?"
She also rehashed the details of how she finally got it in herself to call him following the messy divorce from Kris Humphries. She told Billy, "I called [Kanye] because I'm sure it was really hurtful that I got married and, even though it's not like we communicated all the time, I knew what he was thinking. So I thought he was going to call me as soon as he knew that I was single again. He didn't, and so I called him and I said, 'Hello? I thought you were at least going to call me and 'I told you so,' something?' And then - he's always been a good friend to me, like, we've always been there for each other - then he invited me to a fashion show of his in Paris and I went, and then the magic happened."
All in all, Kanye has been a good influence on Kim, as far as she's concerned, that is. She also gave him credit for her newfound confidence in other interests, saying that "He's super confident and I think in my career and in life he's given me so much confidence. I handle things differently. Like in business, like I go into something where before I might have been a little bit timid and I'm a little bit calmer, and I go in like, 'No, guys, this is what I want.'"
Well, looks like Kim has found her happy ever after. They're hitting their first year mark as a married couple soon. Do you think their relationship will last?
