Gameranx noted that there are rumors for EA to acquire the UEFA license from Konami within the year. If this were true, many are expecting EA to take their UEFA International Cup License in various directions, like adding career mode competitions.
Some of the legends expected to be included in this year's game installment are French defender Lillian Thuram, David Beckham, Carles Puyol, Rivaldo, Clarence Seedorf, Robert Baggio and Romario among others, as per WhatCulture.
A separate Gameranx report noted that users would want to see revised search options in "FIFA 16" for player positions and other aspects of the game. It added that PC users encounter difficulty in searching for good CDM/CM/CAM players who are moving to different positions.
"Being able to search your club for RF/RW/RM etc and being able to switch concept players positions are the two things FIFA 16 needs that would be so easy to implement. And some way of seeing in-game stats of a player without having to go to Futhead or being in a game. I want to know how good my player is without having to use a website or start a game and endlessly pause it," Gameranx qouted a user saying.
On the other hand, Bidness ETC expects "FIFA 16" to be the "best soccer simulation ever."
The report said that the game release will hopefully perfect the emulation of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Players' movements, emotions, and style are all likely to be more authentic. Their reactions to different moments are expected to be as realistic as possible," Bidness ETC explained.
It also pointed out the need for the introduction of the role of managers in kick off online or career mode, noting that if players are recreated for authenticity, managers should also be given the same treatment.
"It would be lovely to see Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, or Louis Van Gaal recreated along with their emotions and reactions during the game," Bidness ETC added.
