Mike Tyson Elbows Man Twice In the Chest After Shared Photograph Attempt! [Watch]
Mike Tyson, who has been making a lot of appearances lately, mostly, because of his support for the fight of the century, showed one unwitting fan why he isn't the type to be messed around with.
The youngest heavyweight champion at the age of 20 was one of the thousands of fans who flocked the weigh-in Friday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada when another fan in attendance got too close for his own comfort. The foolhardy man puts his arm around Tyson, who is in front of him, as he tried to get his photo op with the boxer.
The fan would end up keeping both his ears, but not without receiving one elbow shot after another right through his chest.
"Seriously, what was that guy thinking?" you'd probably be asking. Apparently, the fan was not in his right frame of mind when he did the unthinkable. He was a little bit boozed up.
Mike Tyson was not called the "Baddest Man on the Planet" for nothing. For one, he has admitted to the use of illegal drugs. Worse, he confessed to have been under the influence even when he was in a boxing match. He used to come clean on pre-fight drug testing by making use of fake penis with clean urine, which Mike Tyson would refer to as a "whizzer," according to a 2013 article by The Guardian.
There also was the issue of his alleged sex addiction. "I knew there was nobody in the ring who could stop him. The only reason he may not go down as the best is because of his weakness for women. Every decision he made was around women and sex," says Rory Holloway, former manager and lifelong pal of the boxer, as told by The Mirror.
Tyson would go on to be convicted for the rape of an 18 year-old beauty pageant contestant in an Indianapolis hotel room.
And, there were all those cases of violence he has incurred over the course of his troubled past. The Guardian cited instances, such as the one event when Tyson kicked his promoter Don King in the head. He admits to hitting fans who only wanted to get his autograph, and being involved in a street fight against a fellow boxer, among others.
The beast has tamed over the years, though. "Iron Mike is dead," Tyson said, in a Los Angeles Times article. "That guy tries to come out every once in a while. But I'm not him. I'm trying to be Michael Gerard Tyson now."
But, that doesn't mean you should push your luck because you just don't know when Mike Tyson gets up on the wrong side of bed. One guy here learned his lesson the hard way.
