GoPro Hero 5 Out With Quadcopter? Powerful Specs Expected! [Release Date & Price Rumors]
"Think it. See it. Do it," says Nicholas Woodman, the founder and CEO of the popular brand GoPro via the company's official site. "GoPro helps people capture and share their lives' most meaningful experiences with others-to celebrate them together. Like how a day on the mountain with friends is more meaningful than one spent alone, the sharing of our collective experiences makes our lives more fun," he added.
GoPro, Inc., the manufacturer of the HD action camcorders used by thousands of people today in capturing life's greatest action with ease and quality, is yet to launch another product that continually amazes the world with its top-rated features and award-winning performance.
As you can recall, the company made a noise when they introduced GoPro Hero 4 Silver and Black in the video industry last September 2014. According to Digital Tech Reviews and Tips, the release of the upgraded version of GoPro Hero 4 will be in October 2015.
However, according to Value Walk, improvements made to the GoPro Hero 4 caused the delay since enhancement can sometimes be complex with the current technology. Release date will still be within 2015 but may likely be towards the end of the year.
GoPro entering the drones market?
In a report, Digital Trends said that since GoPro cameras are being used concomitantly with Quadcopter maker and hobbyists' flying machines, selling the whole kit would be a good idea for the Californian company. By the end of 2015, a launch of "a multi-rotor helicopter" was rumored which will be priced between $500-$1000.
Price, features
When it comes to the price, the Hero 5 could cost between $400-$500, Master Herald claimed.
According to The GoPro Zone, the new version would have 60 frames per second frame rate. If true, this will produce more dramatic results compared to the existing Go Pro Hero 4, which has 30 frames per seconds rate. Hero 5 is also rumored to have Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and a water proof capacity of up to 197 ft, surpassing today's latest action camera. However, there is a chance that video capture will still be the same as Hero 4 Black. With all the specs and features stated above, the market will be expecting a thicker and slightly heavier camera.
Battery life, according to Value Walk, will also be upgraded by 150 percent. From 1160mAh battery of GoPro Hero 4, Hero 5 will reportedly feature a 2800 mAh battery, which is best for its high frame rate and resolution. Besides the mentioned upgrades, the said model will be compatible with 3-D technology using its dual-lens set-up, HDMI ports and Wi-Fi compatibility.
