Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date Looming? More Pro 3 Deals Pop Online! [Specs, Features & Price Rumors]
Those who are looking for great deals on Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 tablet are in for a treat.
Best Buy will reportedly give a gift card worth at least $50 as well as a $150 coupon when you trade-in your existing tablet to the retailer, CNET wrote. The promotion, which is valid until Saturday, requires interested consumers to have their tablets in working condition. The amount of the gift card depends on the device's specific state.
Best Buy's promotion is only available in-store in selected locations. Customers are "limited to trade-ins of two tablets per person and of one coupon toward the purchase of the Pro," the news outlet noted. The tablet should be able "to power on and cannot have water damage or a cracked screen," CNET added.

This wasn't the first time that a deal was made for the Surface Pro 3. According to CNET, a December trade from Microsoft and another one in February reduced the tablet's price by $100. Computer World reported that the device's February-March deal offered a buyback program, which credits customers for traded-in Surface RT, Surface 2, Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, or Surface Pro 3 devices.
The thinner and lighter Surface Pro 3 is equipped with a 12-inch, high-resolution display, a kickstand, and a digital pen. Customers should pay an extra $130 for the Type Cover keyboard, CNET noted.
You can also check out the Surface Pro 3 lineup (excluding out trade-in discounts) on Best Buy's site here.

Surface Pro 4 in the Works?
Huge expectations are set for Microsoft's upcoming Surface Pro 4, which is scheduled for a July 2015 release. According to Venture Capital Post, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to be released in two models. The 12-inch variants, believed to be the "mass-geared type," will be powered by a new Intel processing chip for a "fan-less experience." The device will have a 2K screen resolution at 2160 x 1440 pixels.
The 14-inch model, meanwhile, is equipped with an Intel i5 and i7 processor, Venture Capital Post noted. A choice between the Type Cover keyboard or one with a "sturdier hinge" could be available for users.
The device is also expected to have a stylus pen, which is rumored to be included in the iPad Pro as well. The news outlet wrote that the Surface Pro 4 could have the new Windows 10 operating system, a memory space of 8 GB to 16 GB and a maximum of 1 TB internal storage, along with the fifth generation Intel core processor known as Broadwell.
Expert analyzers predicted that the Surface Pro 4 will cost $1,200 to $2,000, Venture Capital Post reported.
