Rihanna 'American Oxygen' Tidal Listen: Did RiRi Steal Just Brittany’s Track?
Rihanna has recently performed her entire "American Oxygen" song at the March Madness Music Fest held in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
The Barbadian singer performed the track during her headlining set at White River State Park, Yahoo! Music reported. "American Oxygen" has been playing in commercials for two months in an effort to promote this year's NCAA basketball tournament. The promos also show Rihanna "in front of an American flag with footage from the court," Entertainment Weekly wrote.
You can check out an official version of "American Oxygen" through a Tidal subscription which costs $9.99 a month (or $19.99 a month for the premium subscription). However, a free 30-day trial is free upon signing up for the site.
Aside from Tidal, the track is also available on SoundCloud and can be streamed here.
Aside from "American Oxygen," the 27-year-old songstress also sang her other tracks such as "FourFiveSeconds, "B*tch Better Have My Money," "Rock Star 101," "Stay," "We Found Love," and set closer "Diamonds," Yahoo! Music noted.
'B*tch Better Have My Money' Stolen?
Though many of Rihanna's fans are currently over the moon for the artist's new tracks, a report from Perez Hilton has revealed that "B*tch Better Have My Money" might have been copied from another musician's song.
Fans of Just Brittany have claimed that there are similarities between Rihanna's "B*tch Better Have My Money" and the former's single titled "Betta Have My Money," which was released in February 2014. As pointed out by Perez Hilton, both club songs "have basically the same title, and roughly the same hook." Just Brittany even posted a short clip on her official Instagram page to rub the accusation even further.
'R8' Latest News & Updates
Details about RiRi's upcoming eighth studio album have been scarce. Recent reports, however, provide new info about the artist's highly anticipated new batch of songs. According to the singer, she wanted to focus on music that felt "real," "soulful," and "forever," as reported by Billboard
She added, "I wanted songs that I could perform in 15 years; I wanted an album that I could perform in 15 years. Not any songs that were burnt out. I find that when I get on stage now, I don't want to perform a lot of my songs because they don't feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless."
Kanye West, who Rihanna collaborated with on "FourFiveSeconds," will serve as an executive producer of "R8," Capital FM reported. The album will also feature Florence + The Machine's frontwoman Florence Welch and Adele's regular song collaborator Paul Epworth. "Love Me Again" singer John Newman, Ne-Yo, and Scottish artist Calvin Harris are also onboard.
